We’re here for Black joy, and Curlfest in Prospect Park delivered it in droves over the weekend. Organized by the Curly Girl Collective, the annual natural hair festival brought out thousands of people (with some of the best twist-outs, afros, locs, wash & gos, knots and braids we’ve seen) in celebration of the creativity, versatility and sheer beauty of Black hair.
